Hand harvested, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts from the vineyard and aged into old oak “cubetos”.
Hand-harvested, foot-trodden with stems, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeast from the vineyard and the winery, and aged in old oak vats. A return to the origins of Bierzo, where red and white grapes from old vineyards are blended. Its label – a young man drinking from a porrón – is the image that links tradition and modernity, a metaphor for what this winery represents and its 20 years of work to place the quality wines of El Bierzo at the very top.
Pale ruby colour with fragrant nose of violet, red plum, wild berries, and fennel. A smooth, refreshing easy drinking palate.
It pairs with good-fun and straightforward people… and with all kind of dishes, from very traditional stews to refined Nikkei cuisine. Enjoy it cool (10-12°C) either in glass, tumbler or wine-pitcher.
