They jury of the 25th European Young Wines Tasting Contest of the Spanish Tasters Union (UEC) has awarded Lusco 2010 with the Gold Baco as a white aromatic native wine in the event celebrated last may 26th.
Lusco 2010 albariño has been awarded with the famous Gold Baco as a White aromatic native wine by the UEC. These awards are the most important given in Spain to young wines. The jury, composed by 60 jueges, has awarded Lusco 2010, a wine aged on the lees that has not yet showed all its potential, which will happen in the following months and years.
Year by year, Baco Awards are a thermometer to evaluate the most recent Spanish harvest. Yearly icon of the calendar, due to ist unique philosophy and witness of the Spanish development for the last 25 years. Baco Awards are currently the best reflection of the youngest quality and diversity, where the quality of the harvest share importance together with the richness of our terroir.

Lusco 2010, under the Rías Baixas Appellation, is produced at Adega Pazos de Lusco, part of the group Dominio de Tares, located in León. This winery is a referent not only for the quality of the wines but for the château concept developed by this winery settled on a single vineyard. Tradition and innovation define this new concept of winery where priorities are focused on keep on producing and offering a limited production, making surprising and thrilling wines on each vintage.
