DOMINIO DE TARES CAPTIVATES INTERNATIONAL CRITICS
•International critics have recognized Dominio de Tares with 13 mentions in three of the most prestigious international contests: Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Decanter World Wine Awards and International Wine Challenge.
•Golde medal for Cepas Viejas 2007 at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, the only Mencía awarded.
The decisions for Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Decanter World Wine Awards e International Wine Challenge published today have given very good results to the Winery Dominio de Tares, which has been awarded with gold, silver and bronze for several wines. Special importance for the gold medal given to Cepas Viejas 2007, the only gold medal for a wine under the Bierzo Appellation.
The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles gave four medals to Dominio de Tares, 3 silver medals and one gold medal for Cepas Viejas 2007. The jury of the contest, fully composed by wine professionals, counts on the most selected international experts, who had te decide among the 6,964 wines in contest.
In the London International Wine Fair, which takes place these days, also the Decanter World Wine Awards were published. These awards, given by the prestigious magazine Decanter, are currently a referent in the wine world. Thoroughly tasted and blindly judged by a group of experts from many different countries, the jury awarded with silver and bronze several wines from the winery Dominio de Tares.
Another recognition for Dominio de Tares comes from the International Wine Challenge, one of the most prestigious contest, and which has awarded our wines with silver medals. Wines from the most important wine regions all over the world applied in this important contest, which excels at the force of the data and its excellent rigor. Organized by the British The Wine International Magazine, it is well-known for its strict jury with 370 masters of the wine world, who have to decide among more than 1,000 samples.
These awards are a nice reward for the work done at the wineries of the Groups Dominio de Tares, Dominio de Tares, Dominio DosTares and Adega Pazos de Lusco.
The wineries count on a young and creative professional teamwork, focused on the compromise with the consumer, raising its Mencías Godellos and Albariños to the highest expression.
